Royal Care Cosmetics

Today I am going to do a review on the brand 'Royal Care Cosmetics' which is a makeup brand specialising mostly in brushes and eye products. The link to their website can be found here and the link to their Instagram can be found here :)

So first impressions, well first impressions...as you may know, I have been searching for a blending/shading/crease brush for a while, so as soon as I saw it I just had to test it out (as you can probably see). I tried all the others after I took the photo, but just had to try it, so sorry that brush doesn't look brand new on the photo. Anyway so I guess I'll start with that now.....

So as you may be able to tell,  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this make up brush! I think it's actually supposed to be used for concealer etc oops...but I just think it works so well as a blending brush to use in your crease. I've wanted one for ages but wasn't quite sure if it would work and how different the brush is to a normal eyeshadow brush. This brush can be found from the Face Black Matte Brush Set.

So the next thing I spotted were the false lashes, mainly because they're pink aha! I haven't actually tried these out yet, because I feel with false lashes unless you have really short eyelashes and go for natural looking ones, there's a certain time and place (which is usually a party) and I really want to try them out, but at the same time I want to save them for a nice night out, besides I can always do a blog post nearer the time ;) These ones are the Foxy 701s.

Next I spotted the mascara, or Waterproof Black Mascara as formerly known. Personally I'm not sure exactly what to look for in a mascara, I feel if you apply anything to your eyelashes, it will make them look longer. However I do like just how un-clumpy it is, I hate it when some mascaras go all horrible and have bits in them everywhere. So I am very happy with this mascara, but tip - your eyelashes go A LOT longer when using an eyelash curler before hand!

So when I saw the next product, my gut reaction was....um what?
I literally didn't have a clue what it was for, then found out it was a 'Amber Royal Brush Cleaning Pad' and I was like, ahhhhh. Well now I know what it is, I think it's pretty amazing to be honest! And it's such a good idea too because you can buy them for about £3, and considering how much you pay for make-up brushes, you don't want to ruin them, and It's just so worth buying a cleaning pad rather than doing it without and ruining the brush.

The next product I did mention about a bit on my Instagram photo, but OMG it is so much easier to apply powder with a kabuki brush rather than a powder brush!! This one is the 'Glam Small Pro Round Top Kabuki Brush' you can see the size of it compared to my hand, but personally I think the smaller one is a nice size, and it fits nicely into your bag without taking up too much room. I love this so much, and have replaced it with my powder brush, it is just a lot faster to apply make-up.

The next product I got was an eyeliner pot. I can't quite describe the colour, but luckily it came up pretty accurate on the photo. This one is the 'Eye Liner Gel Brittle Waterproof' which is number 12. It's like a really silvery, grey, slightly greeny gold possibly, kind of colour (yes I still thought I'd attempt to describe it for you). I am really happy with this as well, you can see with this I also couldn't wait to try it haha :D I might purchase a black one soon because it's so good.

The next thing I got was the Angled Eye Liner Brush. I would 100% recommend this if you're a beginner, like myself, trying to figure out how people apply eyeliner so perfectly when your hand is shaking slightly and your eyeball twitches slightly...it really is a mystery. But anyway, I'm still learning, and I'm rather fond of the brush because it makes it so much easier. I find the other brushes are really hard, but the angled brush and felt tip ones are easiest.

So the next brush I got was from the 'Gold Premium Synthetic Kabuki Make-up Brush Set'. And obviously first impressions...I really like the gold on the brush, I think it's really original. Personally I don't understand the pointed foundation brush, but I think it's just personal preference, I find the shape is harder for the foundation to blend, but at the same time maybe it would be a good contour brush?

Also from a kabuki set is the next face brush, the round kabuki. I love this brush so much, I think this is mainly because I love my current foundation brush, the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, this is so similar but just slightly angled, other than that, it feels and works just the same, so if you're looking for a cheaper alternative that works just as well, I would totally recommend this.
