Chanie's Wonderland: Colchester Zoo

As you know, I went to Colchester Zoo last week, so I thought today I would share with you a selection of some of the photos I took...a photo album if you will ;)

Pretty cool looking monkeys.

Sorry if you aren't too fond of snakes.

This is literally the biggest lizard I've ever seen!

We were so close to the tiger, it was literally right next to us on the other side of the glass, unfortunately I bought my bigger lens so I couldn't get a very good photo.

This wolf was so confident and seemed almost domesticated. It was on it's own and just strolled up near the bars at us, you can see how similar the dog and the wolf really are.

And obviously I had to get a photo of the elephants, especially since I haven't seen one for years, and this was probably the last I saw. Elephants are just so fascinating, also I got to feed one of them, and it's trunk took the food from my hand, it felt sooooo weird! I couldn't even attempt to describe it haha :)

Personally I'd love to have a turtle myself.

I've actually only just noticed the eyebrows on this monkey ahaha, they're so cool.

Personally I'd also like to have a pet meerkat.

I do like otters, but these ones seemed really stressed out for some reason, maybe they didn't like the people being near them.

Also love red pandas, they're so adorable and have such a pretty colour.

I quite like this photo.

The poison dart frog.

It's hard to see, but the tube at the back is the area we walked through, Sea Lions are pretty cool though.

Sorry I just had to!! Anyway here's the Anaconda, we were slightly dissapointed with how small it was, why didn't Nikki write a song about a bigger snake hahah?

Ah Rhianna's a bear, it all makes sense now.

So of course the Sloth didn't move at all, to be honest I wanted to see the Sloths face but none of them were moving really, so here's am arm.

I also quite like this photo.

Lizards are pretty cool though okay.

I also like orangutans

And this is a small breed of monkey, and it's absolutely adorable.

Rhianna isn't too fond of this photo but I quite like it in an artistic way.

I always find the brightest birds are the prettiest.

Just had to include my assignment animal, the Red River Hog. We made behavioral observations and assessments on the little grey one we think was oldest.
