MUA Heaven & Earth Palette

Long time no speak... sorry I've just been so busy, but it's good to be back writing a blog again. So today I've decided to share with you my love for the MUA Heaven & Earth Palette. I'm sorry the photos aren't from when the palette was new/not ruined an eyeshadow brush touching it a million times (got a lot of use from it)! There is some fallout from the eyeshadows and it's a bit messy, but that just shows how good it is ;)

I heard a lot about the MUA palettes from Instagram, then had a quick look online (here) to realise they were only £4 and rushed (not literally, but I did very quickly make a plan to get to it) to Superdrug. I had a slight problem when I got there and was faced with a HUUGGGEEEE collection of MUA products and many eyeshadow palettes, and quite frankly I had far too many to choose from. To me most of the palettes looked the same, so I just grabbed the Heaven & Earth palette and was like "that'll do".

Superdrug says - Our best selling palette, Heaven and Earth has 12 fab colours to create natural looks
This palette has a great selection of neutral shades to create both day and night looks
Superdrug was right...and it is pretty great. I'm in love with this palette, especially because I can easily brighten my eyes and make them look so much nicer by adding the slightest bit of eyeshadow which can look so subtle it's barely noticeable but waayyy better than before.

I guess the only downer I would say; is that the shades are very natural so can't give any kind of smokey eye and may not make your eyes dark enough for an evening out... but then again I used this palette for my prom and it was dark enough then. The other difference is whether it's good or bad, all the shades are shimmery, which may not be so good if you're going for a really natural look, it probably would've been better if some mattes were included.

On the left half from left to right the shades are; Aurora, Amazonian Bronze, Babylon and then Rift, Amber Dune, and Catacomb. Firstly... I love the names haha. As you can see, my most used is Aurora (love the name!) which is the lightest shade, and I use that to brighten up my eyes in the inner corner of my lid, and inner corner of my eyebrow.

On the right half from left to right the shades are; Myan Dust, Valley, Golden Sand, and then Tectonite, Canyon, and Bedrock. I mostly use Myan Dust over my eyelid, and then vary with every single over colour, the shades are so similar that I don't use any particular one.

So you may have guessed already but I absolutely love this palette, and I recommend it to anyone looking for one or not...BUY IT :)

Stay tuned!

Chanie x
