Watches for £1.84?!

Today I've decided to tell you about two watches I got for an AMAZINNGGGG price of £1.84 each (I think they're even cheaper now!)

The first watch I purchased was the 'Geneva Quartz Jelly Wrist Watch' which I ordered at about Christmas time for roughly £1.84 from ebay. It had free delivery and considering the watch was so cheap, I thought it would take ages to arrive, so was shocked to find the watch had been delivered just a few days after ordering it. I am soooooo happy with this watch, especially as I was certain it would fall to pieces. Over half a year later; It's in great condition, the battery still works, and shockingly all the gems remain! Obviously the only downer would be that the three dials in the centre are just for show and don't actually move, but you honestly don't notice it when wearing the watch. It is also silicone which means its super comfy (and more comfy than watches like this but with links) and has many holes in which is extremely good for me because of my annoying skinny little wrists!
If you type in 'Geneva Watch' on ebay lots and lots will appear, but even then you could just type in 'watch' and sort it from the lowest price to highest, there are so many to choice from, I'm not particularly sure exactly where I got mine from but it would have been like this --------- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Geneva-Silicone-Golden-Crystal-Stone-Quartz-Ladies-Women-Girls-Jelly-Wrist-Watch-/390706801804?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&var=&hash=item5af7f0ac8c

Earlier on this year I decided to search for this cat watch that I'd seen popping up quite a lot on people's Instagram accounts. I soon found it on ebay for about the same price and decided to order it because it's a bargain really, you can never have too many watches when they're about a pound each! I was slightly disappointed when this one took almost a month to arrive, but at the same time what do you expect for something that cheap. I love how the watch looks leather on photos and when you're wearing it, but the problem is that it isn't even faux leather, it's an uncomfortable material that doesn't even feel like leather, it just looks like it (sorry I'm not very good at describing textures). But other than that , and the fact that it's slightly harder to tell the time, I'm very happy with the watch and it's adorable (because I love cats hehe).
There aren't as many to choose from but you can type in 'Cat watch' on ebay or amazon, or look through any other different ones, or click on this -------- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CUTE-SMILE-CAT-FACE-SHAPE-GIRL-WOMEN-DIAL-GOLD-RIM-BEARD-FAUX-LEATHER-WATCH-B83K-/360780017851?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&var=&hash=item54002a30bb

So, these are two lovely watches I have, for such a cheap price, make sure you check out all the different cheap watches if you're interested in getting one but don't want to spend lots of money. I hope you've enjoyed this blog, thankyou for reading.

Everyday make-up

I've decided to do my 'Everyday make-up' blog to show you the make-up I wear daily (even though I don't usually wear it everyday as I'm on holiday now hehe)!

To start with, I moisturise my face using the 'Simple' hydrating light moisturiser, with some 'Primark Beauty' cosmetic pads. This moisturiser is really good making your face feel smooth and soft, plus making your face feeling like you don't have any products on.

Next I grab my 'Rimmel London' match perfection, light perfecting radiance foundation, I got this in the shade '101 Classic Ivory' and apply using my 'Real Techniques' expert face brush. I'm very happy with the foundation, and extremely happy with the brush that can blend anything! At first it was a bit more money than I was hoping to spend, and I was a bit reluctant but eventually decided to buy it, and I am soooo happy with it.

After that I either apply my 'Collection' lasting perfection concealer in the shade '3 warm medium', or my 'Colortrend' perfect and hide concealer in the shade 'Light' which I'm pretty sure is from Avon, or both. I usually use my finger to blend in concealer as I've found that works better than the brush, but sometimes I use a concealer brush. I'm not too happy with my Collection concealer, but have come too realise it may be because it's slightly the wrong shade haha. But I've also figured that It's pretty good if I put a tiny amount under my eyes to hide any dark circles. The Colortrend concealer is absolutely AMAZING and I use that to hide redness or any blemishes, better yet I'm pretty sure it was only about £2 which is a bargain!

To make my make-up stay matte, as my face is usually rather shiny at this point, I apply my 'Rimmel London' stay matte, long lasting pressed powder which is in '004 Sandstorm' and less than £4 so is another bargain. I use an ordinary powder brush, even though I have been informed I should be using a kabuki brush ;)

Afterwards I grab my Lash/brow comb, and Eyelash Curler, both of which are from Superdrug. I usually just comb through my eyelashes and use the curler (I'm not too keen on mascara and my eyelashes are naturally long) then comb my eyebrows to make them neater.

For my eyes I use my 'MUA' eyeshadow palette in 'Heaven & Earth' which I love. I use 'Aurora' which is the lightest shade in the top left, and dab a little bit onto the inner corner of my eyes, and the tip of my eyebrows, just to brighten up my eyes. Then I usually put 'Myan Dust' (top row, four across) and put that all over my eyelids. Then I usually grab any dark colour on the right and put it on my crease and on my outer lid.

Finally, I use my 'Maybelline' Baby Lips in 'Pink Punch' and apply a tiny amount to my lips, making sure I don't put too much on because this is a very tinted lip balm that can easily leave my lips bright (as in NEON) pink!

So, this is the make-up I wear on a daily basis (when I can be bothered), I hope you've enjoyed this blog, thankyou for reading.

Q&A

Hello,

So for my first post I've decided to do a Q&A, answering from those asked questions on instagram, so you can get to know a bit about me.

Let's go!

itskatiemay_ - Tell us an interesting or random fact about you?

  • Not sure, ummm... I can ski.

 - What kind of things are you going to write about on your blog?

  • Mostly beauty and fashion related posts, plus ootd's, reviews and hauls.

megansw0rld - If you could meet ONE youtuber who would you choose?

  • Definitely Zoella :)

 - If you could have a superpower what would it be?

  • I've always wanted to be able to fly haha ;) but I guess it would also be cool to be invisible.

pastelcrush - When is your birthday?

  • 15th August

 - Describe yourself with 10 words.

  • Umm... caring, creative-ish, kind, an animal lover, sensible, sarcastic, sensitive, a bit crazy ahah, I actually can't think of anymore.

_sw4n - What are your holy grail make-up products?

  • Well, I absolutely love my MUA 'Eyeshadow Palette' (Heaven & Earth) it is amaazzzinnngggggg!!! I would also say, a concealer I got a while ago, the COLORTREND 'perfect and hide' concealer (light) which is a stick concealer instead of a liquid one, I'm not sure if you can still get them, but I love mine.

vintage_jessy - What are your future plans?

  • I hope to start college in September, and then go to university in a few years time to study to become a vet.

emily_bunker - Favourite artist/band?

  • OMG Miley Cyrus of course ahaha! I listen to quite a lot of different artists and bands, and just what's in the charts really. I mostly like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Rihanna and One Direction, but have recently been loving Iggy Azalea, 5sos, Demi Lovato, Paloma Faith and Ed Sheeran's songs.

_ellajxnes - Eye make-up or face make-up?

  • I don't really wear much of either, but I would probably say face make-up because I don't wear mascara.

 - 3 favourite animals?

  • Well I have to say; cat, dog, hamster hahah ;) but if they were wild animals, I really like ring-tailed lemurs, fennec foxes, and hedgehogs....or owls or giraffes.

xxjadexebonyxtabramxx - Your fave place and why?

  • My favourite place to go is Southwold, just because it's a really nice place to go, it's by the beach, I've been there a lot as a child, and I go there really often.

I hope you enjoyed reading my first post, I'll try to post every monday! Also thankyou to everyone that asked me questions.
